How to Run Draft Night

1. Keep this app open beside the ESPN draft room.

2. As each ESPN pick is announced, search the player and click Draft Player. The app assigns him to the current manager automatically.

3. Drafted players disappear from search and recommendations. A duplicate pick cannot be entered.

4. Use Undo Last Pick for corrections. This preserves pick order and prevents a broken board.

5. The app autosaves in this browser. Use Export Backup before the draft and periodically during it.

League Profiles: Use the League selector in the header to move between multiple saved leagues. Each profile keeps separate scoring, roster rules, draft order, picks, queue, team logo, player data and mock-draft settings.

Create and copy profiles: Start a blank league, copy the active league settings into a fresh draft, duplicate an exact profile, or restore the built-in sample league.

Profile backups: Export one profile or the complete collection. Existing Draft Command Center backup files can also be imported as new profiles.

Mock Draft Simulator: Start Mock Mode from the Live Draft tab. The simulator drafts for every opponent and stops when the configured My Team is on the clock.

Automatic resume: Keep “Automatically run opponents after my pick” selected to move directly from one human pick window to the next.

Opponent behavior: Realistic mode gives managers different drafting personalities and controlled variance. Best Value, Roster Needs and Unpredictable modes provide alternative practice rooms.

Undo My Last Pick: Rewinds the draft to the human-controlled team’s previous selection, removing all simulated picks that followed it.

Mock drafts: Use New Mock Draft for a fresh simulation or Reset Draft to clear all picks and return to Pick 1. Player updates, league settings and the personal queue remain intact.

6. The countdown timer can be adjusted, paused, reset, and automatically restarts after each pick.

7. Position maximums are enforced for every manager: QB 4, RB 8, WR 8, TE 3, D/ST 3, K 3.

8. Player names link to FantasyPros for current news, rankings, projections, and injury context.

Link accuracy: Duplicate-name players use exact position-specific FantasyPros profiles so the link opens the correct NFL player.

Teams tab: Compare all 32 NFL teams or open one team for projected record, win rate, schedule difficulty, playoff outlook, and fantasy-relevant roster.

Draft Dashboard: Use Round Cards for a clean 12-pick round view, or switch to Full Table when you need every selection at once.

Teams sorting: Teams can be sorted by projected wins, offense, defense, point differential, schedule strength, division or name, with conference and division filters.

Team logo: My Team supports an optional uploaded logo. It is resized locally, saved in this browser and included in exported backups.

Rankings & Data: Advanced ranking imports, player updates and source diagnostics are available under More Tools. They are intentionally removed from normal draft-day navigation.

Recommendation engine: The app combines its built-in ranking boards with league scoring, roster needs, tiers, position limits, player status and draft timing. Optional authorized ranking packages can be managed under Rankings & Data.

Who Should I Draft?: Search by name or use the complete dropdown. Typing an exact full name selects that player automatically. Clear removes one player and Reset Players clears both players, searches, filters and prior advice.

Final comparison decision: The recommended player is determined by the same consensus-plus-league engine used on Live Draft—not by a generic one-size-fits-all ranking.

Favorite Team Themes: Select Theme in the header and choose any of the 32 NFL team palettes. Themes are saved separately for each league profile and do not change semantic traffic signals or position colors.

Mock Draft Simulator: A compact launcher now appears at the top of Live Draft. Start Mock Draft there or select Open Full Simulator for behavior, speed, auto-resume and rewind controls.

Mobile navigation: Use the Current Section dropdown for every tab or the bottom quick bar for Live Draft, Player Compare, My Team and Queue. Less-used header controls are grouped under More Tools.

Recommendation formula: Expert consensus establishes market and analyst value; the existing engine then adds active scoring, roster needs, starter gaps, position limits, tier pressure, player status, bye weeks and return-to-next-pick risk.

Coverage and confidence: Player cards show source count and confidence. When data is missing or thin, the built-in league model carries more weight rather than inventing a consensus.

Offline source rule: Publisher links can be opened directly, but full proprietary ranking databases must be imported from an authorized export or prepared package.

League Setup: Build a custom league by entering the draft format, roster positions, scoring rules, team names and draft slot. Applying a new setup safely rebuilds the draft room.

League files: Import or export structured JSON, CSV or TXT settings. The app does not guess at PDF or Word layouts; use the supplied templates for reliable processing.

Player Data Packages: Imported JSON or CSV packages may include ranks, projected points or complete statistical projections. Full stats let the app calculate fantasy points from the active scoring system and rebuild replacement-value rankings.

My Team targets: Pick-window recommendations include Load Target and Draft Now controls. The new needs panel identifies starter gaps, position priorities, bye concentrations, and the strongest current targets.

Live decision support: The Live Draft tab now evaluates the roster of the team actually on the clock and displays its needs plus a recommended move.

Top 4 + Next 4: Recommendation panels stay compact by default. Expand only the position you need to compare more deeply.

Traffic signals: Green ✓ GO means the recommended move, yellow △ CAUTION means keep a position on the radar, and red ✕ WAIT means do not force that position. The words and symbols carry the meaning even when colors are difficult to distinguish.

Context guard: A position can show GO only when its top player is also the best overall recommendation. A small TE or QB tier cannot override a clearly superior RB or WR.

Position markers: Player names remain neutral. Position badges use bold abbreviations, different symbols, distinct borders, and stronger contrast. Open Legend in the header for the complete guide.

Fast controls: Recommended players now have explicit Add Queue, Load, and Draft buttons. Use Clear Selection beside Draft Player to remove the current selection without using the keyboard.

Personal queue: Star players throughout the app, then manage their order from the header or Live Draft panel.

Data Health: The dashboard reports database age, player coverage, injury flags, manual edits, and missing links.

League rosters: Every fantasy team card shows active QB, RB, WR, TE, D/ST, and K counts at a glance.
